Once Queen Alalya reigned over the wasp-fairies of the Singing Moors. She was an absolute monarch , holding the fates of her people with an iron grip. She was the kind of ruler who was despised and feared by enemy and subject alike. The kind of ruler who needed to have eye and sting everywhere least she wanted her head rolling down the moors. And Alalya could have no kinner eye , no swifter sting than Zzazzich. The Queen's personal assassin , Zzazzich was a shade , a nightmare who hunted everyone except his Queen. Whoever the Queen was suspicious of , her loyal assassin would dispose before she even command it. And all of this , all his loyalty and skill , for his Queen's love. Zzazzich loved Alalya since he remembered himself. He knew such feeling was hopeless , he knew how the Queen saw him only as a weapon , a means to hold her power. But he loved her.

These days are long gone now , so distant that they seem to have never existed. After Queen Alalya was finally overthrown by her oldest daughter Alaleen , every supporter of the old Queen was executed -including the queen. Zzazzich fought so hard to save his love , he killed so many that day and yet for all his skill and fame he failed. It was all over. With nothing left for him but death , he flew away of the moors , never to return. Now , a rogue fairie , Zzazzich's has lost everything. Everything but his sting , a sting that failed to conquer his love , a sting that failed to save her , a sting that is him.
